Training

Training at Emerald is not a singular event, but an ongoing process. It's designed to prepare you for both the rigors of your day-to-day project work and the next level of challenges in your career.

As you progress in your career at Emerald, training will help you succeed through the different stages. You'll learn to manage teams, develop relationships, and understand client insights. Access to electronic learning modules allow you to acquire knowledge anywhere, anytime, on topics ranging from calculating demand curves to facilitating meetings. Web conferences hosted by our practice experts' help you to stay abreast of the latest thinking across a range of industries and functions.

Once you've expressed an interest in a particular industry or functional practice area, you'll be encouraged to participate in presentations and interact with thought leaders. In addition to providing training in core skills, feedback on your performance is used to help you design your own training curriculum.

OFFICE ATMOSPHERE
Should you visit Emerald's headquarters in Broadview Heights, OH, two things will likely strike you: the casual nature of the office and the sounds of productivity. A business-casual work environment, Emerald employees work as independent representatives, but also function as a team. Never stuffy or boring, Emerald employees thrive on challenge, fun, and success.

GIVING BACK
Emerald employees are offered the opportunity and are encouraged to give back to their community several times each year. Most recently, a group of Emerald staff visited and volunteered at Cleveland's Ronald McDonald House to make the children and their families living there feel more at home. Other projects employees have participated in have included working with Habitat for Humanity, AmeriCorps, and other local organizations.

TEAM BUILDING
A quarterly team building event is selected by the Emerald Resource Team to spend an afternoon out of the office. Activities the team has enjoyed have included everything from rock climbing to playing Whirly ball. A firm advocate in finding a work-life balance, Emerald's president, Mark Krusinski, believes teambuilding activities bring his employees together as a cohesive unit and make them more productive inside the office and out.
